Alerts & Notifications

Alerts proactively notify managers when predefined conditions are met. All triggered alerts appear in the Alerts dashboard and are emailed to configured recipients.

Accessing the Alerts Dashboard

Navigate to Alerts in the left navigation menu. The dashboard displays all triggered alerts with the following information per alert:

  • Date: When the alert was triggered
  • Alert Description: Descriptive text about what triggered
  • Alert Type: Category (Absence, Inactivity, Application, URL, Overtime Break)
  • Triggered For: Which employee or team the alert applies to
  • Triggered Time: Exact timestamp

Alert Types

Absence Alert: Triggers when an employee is marked absent on a day they are scheduled to work.

Inactivity Alert: Triggers when an employee has been idle (no keyboard or mouse activity) for a configured duration (e.g., 60 minutes).

Application Alert: Triggers when a specific application is opened (e.g., alert when Instagram is launched).

URL Alert: Triggers when a specific website is accessed (e.g., alert when Facebook is visited).

Overtime Break Alert: Triggers when an employee's total break time during a shift exceeds the configured maximum (e.g., exceeds 1 hour of breaks).

Filtering and Exporting Alerts

  • Date Filter: Select a date range to view alerts from that period
  • Alert Type Filter: Click to filter by specific alert types only
  • Download as CSV: Export all filtered alerts for the selected date range to a CSV file for external analysis or audit purposes
Email Notifications: When an alert is triggered, an email is automatically sent to all recipients configured in that alert rule within minutes. Check your junk/spam folder if you don't see the email.
