Goals
Beta Feature: Goals is currently in beta. Ongoing updates and improvements are planned. Your feedback helps us improve the feature.

Goals allows organizations to set daily activity and productivity targets for employees and teams, then track achievement and provide data-driven coaching.

Types of Goals

Activity Goal: Set a minimum daily Active Time (e.g., "employees should be active for at least 6 hours per day"). Active time is measured by keyboard/mouse activity.

Productivity Goal: Set a minimum daily Productive Time (e.g., "employees should spend at least 5 hours per day on productive work"). Productive time is based on your Productivity Rules.

Setting Goals

1 Navigate to Settings > Productivity > Goals

2 Click "+ Select Goal Type"

3 Choose Activity Goal or Productivity Goal

4 Set the minimum daily hours (e.g., 6 hours active time, 5 hours productive time)

5 Click "Save"

Only Admins can create goals. Once created, goals are visible to all employees in their personal dashboards.

Goals Dashboard

Admins and Managers can view Goals performance at Goals (left navigation). The dashboard shows:

Goal Achievement Status: How many employees hit their daily goal target today, this week, this month.

Goal Achievement Distribution: Pie or bar chart showing the percentage of employees in each achievement band (0-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75%+).

Teamwise Goal Comparison: Compare teams' goal achievement and vs. prior period to identify which teams are outperforming.

Employee List: Per-employee breakdown showing:

  • Present days (days worked)
  • Goals achieved (number of days goal was met)
  • Online time (hours)
  • Active time (hours)
  • Activity vs Goal % (actual active time / goal active time)
  • Productive time (hours)
  • Productivity vs Goal % (actual productive time / goal productive time)

Employee Experience

Standard-role users (employees) see their own Goals in their personal dashboard showing:

  • Daily goal target
  • Current progress toward goal today
  • Historical achievement data (past 7 days, 30 days)
  • Personalized insights and suggestions for improvement

Use Cases

  • Performance management: Use goal achievement data in annual reviews alongside other metrics
  • Coaching conversations: "You're consistently achieving your activity goal — keep up the momentum. Let's focus on improving productivity in Q2."
  • Team incentives: Tie bonuses or recognition to goal achievement to align individual effort with business outcomes
  • Workload planning: If entire team is failing goals, it may indicate understaffing or unrealistic goals — use data to make staffing decisions
