Standard installation makes MyZenV2 visible to the user (app icon in system tray). This is the recommended approach for most deployments.
Installation Steps
1 Download the MyZenV2-setup.exe installer. Log in to the Prodoscore admin portal > click your profile icon (top right) > Download Apps > Windows > Standard
Or visit ag.prodoscore.com/downloads and download the Windows Standard installer
Note: Your download may have an encoded prefix in the filename (e.g., eyJza2V5IjoiLi4uIn0.exe) — this is normal and contains your license token. Do NOT rename it.
2 Locate the downloaded .EXE file in your Downloads folder or wherever the browser saved it
3 Double-click the .EXE file to launch the installer
4 A Windows security popup appears: "Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting"
Click "Yes" or "More info" then "Run anyway" to allow installation to proceed
5 The installer window opens and begins installation automatically. The window closes when done (usually within 1-2 minutes).
6 MyZen app opens automatically after installation. Enter your Prodoscore workspace name (e.g., "acme" if your URL is acme.ag.prodoscore.com)
7 Click "Sign In". Your browser opens for authentication.
8 In the browser, enter your Prodoscore email and password. Click "Sign In"
9 After authentication, return to the MyZen window (in the taskbar). You are now signed in.
10 Click "Punch In" to start tracking your workday
After Installation
MyZen will now:
- Run in the background in the system tray (taskbar, bottom right)
- Launch automatically each time you start your computer
- Collect activity data whenever you're punched in
- Stop collecting when you punch out
Important: Do not close or uninstall MyZen. You must punch out before logging off your computer. Punching out tells the system you've finished your workday.
MyZen System Tray Icon
After startup, look for the MyZen icon in the system tray (bottom right of taskbar, near the clock). The icon shows your current status:
- Green/Active: Punched in and actively being tracked
- Yellow/Idle: Punched in but idle (no keyboard/mouse activity)
- Grey/Offline: Punched out or not connected
Right-click the icon to access menu options: Punch In/Out, Settings, About, Exit.
Verification
To confirm installation is working:
- Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and search for "MyZenV2"
- MyZenV2.exe should be listed in the Processes tab
- The MyZen window should be open or minimized in the taskbar
