Projects & Tasks allows teams to organize, assign, and track work items within Prodoscore, integrating task management with time-tracking for a unified view of project progress and effort.
Projects Dashboard
The Projects main dashboard displays all projects in your organization.
Project List: Each project shown with:
- Project Name: Title of the project
- Description: Purpose and scope
- Owner: Project lead or manager
- Status: Active, Inactive, or Closed
- Task Count: Number of tasks in the project
Click any project to open its detailed view.
Project Details View
Project Information Tab: Overview with project name, description, owner, status, creation date.
Tasks Tab: List of all tasks in the project with:
- Task name and description
- Assignee (who is responsible)
- Reporter (who created the task)
- Status (TODO, IN PROGRESS, DONE)
- Start date and due date
- Time logged (hours worked on the task)
Add Task Button: Opens a side panel to create a new task within the project. Fill in:
- Task name
- Description
- Assignee
- Start and due dates
- Priority (if supported)
- Initial status
Task Detail View
Click on any task to open its full detail view.
Task Summary: Name, description, assignee, reporter, dates, priority.
Attachments: Files attached to the task (documents, images, etc.).
Child Issues/Subtasks: Breakdown of the task into smaller work items if applicable.
Assignee Information: Profile and contact info for the person assigned to the task.
Time Estimates: Estimated hours to complete vs. actual hours logged.
Comments: Discussion thread where team members can leave updates and feedback.
Update Task: Click to modify status, assignee, dates, or other details.
Employee Project Access
Employees with Standard role can view their own dashboard > Projects to see:
- All tasks assigned to them
- Current status of each task
- Due dates (helps prioritize work)
- Time logged against each task (how many hours they've worked on it)
- Quick link to update task status
This gives employees visibility into their workload and progress toward project milestones.
Manager/Admin Access
Managers and Admins can:
- Create new projects
- Create and assign tasks
- View all projects and tasks across teams (if admin) or their assigned team (if manager)
- Filter by team, assignee, status, or date range
- Update task status and reassign as needed
Filtering Tasks
- Status Filter: View only TODO, IN PROGRESS, or DONE tasks
- Assignee Filter: View tasks assigned to specific employee(s)
- Project Filter: Drill down to specific project
- Date Range: Filter by due date or creation date
Integration with Time Tracking
Time logged in Prodoscore (via the Attendance, Activity, and Productivity modules) can be associated with Projects for detailed project costing and ROI analysis. When employees log hours, those hours are tracked against assigned tasks, providing clarity on project spend.
