Common Windows Installation Questions

Q: How do I install MyZen on Windows?

A: Download the .EXE from your admin portal (profile icon > Download Apps > Windows). Double-click the file and follow the prompts. No admin rights required for standard mode.

Q: Do I need admin rights?

A: Standard mode: No. Stealth mode: Yes (admin rights required for installation only).

Q: How do I verify installation (standard)?

A: Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and search for "MyZenV2" in the Processes tab. It should be running with your username.

Q: How do I verify installation (stealth)?

A: Open Task Manager and search for "MyZenV2s" and "zsrvc". Both should be running.

Q: Where are download links?

A: ag.prodoscore.com/downloads or log in to admin portal > profile icon > Download Apps.

Q: How do updates work?

A: Automatic. The agent checks periodically and installs updates in the background without user action.

Q: Are standard and stealth separate licenses?

A: No. Same license, you choose which mode to deploy.

Q: Installation fails / antivirus blocking

A: Add antivirus exceptions for C:\\Program Files\\Prodoscore\\MyZenV2 (standard) or C:\\Program Files\\zs\\zs (stealth). See Antivirus and Firewall Exceptions for details.

Specific Error Messages

"Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app"

Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to allow installation to proceed.

"License Error" or "Invalid Token"

You renamed the installer file before running it. Download the installer again with the original filename and reinstall.

"Installation Failed - Error 1603"

Check antivirus logs. Disable antivirus temporarily and retry. If it still fails, check the log file at %TEMP%\\atinstall.log and send it to support@prodoscore.com.

"Cannot Find Prodoscore Servers"

Network connectivity issue. Verify: (1) Internet access works, (2) Firewall allows *.ag.prodoscore.com, (3) No proxy blocking. See Networking Requirements.
